How to read a window serial number:
Of course you want to receive the exact window you need and our goal is to see that you receive just what you want. For order accuracy, having a window serial number is very important! Some windows do not have SN's and we will do our best to determine what window model you need.
A Hehr International window number is printed on the a sticker label affixed to the outer metal frame of your window unit. The label is not visible if the window unit is installed in the RV. The window unit will have to be removed in order to view the SN sticker.
The SN format is as such:
01-5901-00-0-215-355-3535-1801
Each number segment identifies a specific feature of your window. For example, the '5901' segment of the number above identifies that this window is a model 5901. SN's can be very long depending on the features of the window. Each segment is important.
FAQ's
1. Do we carry window inventory?
All new orders are made when ordered. Buccaneer RV Supply LLC does not carry regular stock inventory. We place orders with Hehr International factories and the order is manufactured to your specifications.
2. What is the ETA of my window order?
The standard production time is 2 weeks from date of order. Orders are submitted the next business day after we receive your authorization and payment. When the order is complete, there is delivery time from the factory location direct to you. Delivery times vary depending on carrier, distance and urgency.
3. Can I order parts for my window instead of replacing the entire unit?
Window parts for currently available models can be ordered provided we have a window SN. Buccaneer RV Supply LLC does not stock a parts inventory so all parts are ordered individually as our customers request them. Buccaneer RV Supply LLC does not provide repair services.
4. How much is packaging and shipping?
Each order will have a crating/packaging fee as well as a shipping fee from the factory to requested destination. Please see the shipping information page for fees.
